Semester 1 Week 8 Basic Anatomy

This drawing is very well structured proportionally. Even though the model bends forward, the height according to the head measurement is very efficient. Additionally, the angles give the essence of this particular posture. The degree of the left part of the body describes the leaning of the model. Furthermore, the muscles of the left arm are very well drawn, in order to demonstrate that the model is standing. The right arm is not obvious, but the degree of the triceps give the impression of the arm direction. Foreshortening is not intense, because the pose of the model is upright. The right foot creates an essence of perspective, but its position gives the impression that the leg is lifted up. The tones and the highlights on the body are successful, as they make the drawing more three dimensional, the back in particular, and the direction of the strokes describes its form. However, the strokes of the hips do not depict their form efficiently.
